HEALING HERBS: Methods to relieve effects of eczema
The following is one of my most effective creations for people who seek relief from the itching associated with eczema.
1 cucumber ½ glass of water
pinch grated ginger
1 slice of avocado pear
1 hibiscus flower
Blend ingredients together. Drink or place on skin.
People I know who are challenged with eczema are very conscious of the condition and it can affect their self-esteem. Some wear clothes to conceal the conditions without knowing that certain clothing can aggravate the condition. Nevertheless, this week concludes the presentations geared to children as the spotlight shines on eczema.
Eczema is a chronic skin condition in which the skin becomes itchy, reddened, cracked and dry. It is also known as atopic dermatitis or atopic eczema. Many factors can trigger eczema including strong soaps, some household cleaners, illnesses of the liver, nutritional deficiencies, allergies, internal glandular secretions, stress, indigestion, lime, cement and certain clothing material.
Unquestionably, many silent doctors are available for healing. Furthermore, the person should ensure that the affected area does not get wet, do weekly body detoxifications, consume more holistic foods, get plenty of exercise, avoid exposing the affected area to the elements, drink a reasonable amount of water, and have deep conversations with the Creator.
Besides the silent doctor recipe above, the following are available for treatment: flaxseeds, almonds and any other foods containing omega-three fatty acids. Baji (amaranth) leaves soaked in water for 20 minutes can be applied to the affected area through the hot compress procedure.
Cerasee, almond or a comfrey decoction can be used to wash the skin. The area could also be massaged with olive or almond oil. Aloe vera or cochineel can be used against inflammation to cool and rejuvenate the skin.
In addition, turmeric, guava and pomegranate teas can assist with detoxing the body. A smoothie containing garlic, celery, carrot, banana and almond breeze milk can also help balance the body’s pH, or acid-alkaline balance. Also place some sliced strawberries, guava and lemon in water and leave for ½ hour. Strain and drink the liquid to boost the immune system. Try arrowroot powder.
Finally, all people who have battled with eczema for years must now assist the process by contacting the subconscious mind and removing the thought pattern which is causing the discomfort. Eczema can be viewed as a psychological eruption.
Therefore, repeat daily, “I let go of you, eczema. I am willing to change.” A month later, repeat, “I am surrounded by peace and harmony. Let love and joy envelop my body. All is well.”
