Art of the giants

Share post:

The giants among us is the name of an art show currently under way at Bridgetown Gallery, Sheraton Centre, Christ Church.
The title of this exhibition speaks for itself, as the artists whose works are on display are seasoned artists – some of whom have had their creations in the spotlight for many years. Included among these are Alison Chapman-Andrews, Arthur Atkinson and Heather-Dawn Scott.
Their subjects vary and consist of Barbados landscapes, fishermen, plants and the like.
You are sure to enjoy the pieces on display, not only because they will appeal to your senses, but also because they make fabulous pieces for the home or office – especially when you feel that need to escape to nature.
A number of extract pieces also dot the walls of this art gallery and you just might have fun trying to figure out what tale the abstract pieces tell. (CH)
