Light winds are responsible for the recent hot days and nights in Barbados.
Some people have been complaining of the heat, especially during the last couple days, but Meteorologist Sabu Best is saying it’s nothing unusual.
He told NATIONNews this afternoon that the minimum temperature of 25 degrees Celcius in most parts of Barbados was normal.
He, however, explained that the current winds were lighter when compared to the last couple of months.
He also noted that temperatures tend to be warmer in some areas, especially the western and central parts of the island.
Best further explained that the nights weren’t “cooling down” like they would around December. (CM)
