ANOTHER?LOCAL BUSINESS has closed its doors, leaving about ten employees on the unemployment list.
Beef Eater, famous for its beef and potato rotis and patties, shut down its operations last Saturday after 36 years, without any previous announcement to its staff.
“We went to work last Saturday and management informed us there and then that the business was closed,” an upset former employee told the DAILY?NATION.
Beef Eater had an office at Wildey, St Michael, and also operated a popular restaurant at the corner of Swan Street and Prince William Henry Street. It also sold its pastries and rotis to a number of food businesses, including gas stations.
