Some students not at school
SEVERAL STUDENTS FROM the Daryll Jordan Secondary School are currently on suspension.
This is after Deputy Chief Education Officer (Schools) Karen Best reportedly ordered that the letters of suspension to 32 students, who turned up for school after 10 a.m. last Friday, be rescinded until an investigation could be carried out.
Principal Stephen Jackman told the DAILY NATION yesterday that the matter had been investigated and “some students are at school and some not”.
“As far as we are concerned, the matter is resolved. . . . . Refer any other queries to the ministry,” Jackman said.
