The Professional Road Tennis Association (PRTA) of Barbados has struck another major deal.
After months of negotiations, the PRTA has signed a sponsorship deal with PlusOne, an international apparel company.
PlusOne, which deals primarily with athletic apparel and casual wear and has sponsored both Iraq’s and Zimbabwe’s national football teams, has joined forces with Dale Clarke, the chief executive officer of the PRTA in an effort to promote the sport throughout the Caribbean and South America.
The announcement has come just two years after the PRTA were invited to England by sporting kit icons Adidas, to spearhead a promotion involving Wimbledon champion Andy Murray.
Chris Anderson, the chief financial officer of PlusOne, was recently in Barbados and in an exclusive interview with WEEKEND SPORT, he revealed that he was very excited about the prospects of this partnership.
