A 16-year-old who appeared in District “A” Criminal Court No. 2 yesterday was denied bail and remanded again to HMP Dodds until December 23.
Matthew Vanputten is charged with having articles with him for use in the course of or in connection with criminal deception, those being three sponsor sheets, a rubber stamp and an ink-pad, on September 5.
The youth is also charged with unlawfully assaulting Clarence Holder on that date.
Lennox Miller, attorney for Vanputten, asked the court to consider that his client was “a very young man who had lost his way”. (SD)
