Child Care Board gets hamper donations

DEPUTY Director of the Child Care Board (CCB) Denise Nurse says many families in Barbados go hungry on a daily basis.
Nurse said the donation of several hampers to the Child Care Board meant some of those families could be fed this Christmas. She was speaking this morning after accepting 18 gift hampers from the Optimist Club of Barbados South.
Nurse said the hampers would be distributed to the children and their families that the CCB dealt with through their programmes. (LK)
