WEDNESDAY’S DEADLINE to start the termination of 3 000 civil servants by Government has been delayed, says Prime Minister Freundel Stuart.
He made the announcement this evening after talks with representatives from the National Union of Public Workers and the Barbados Workers’ Union at Government Headquarters.
Stuart, who described the talks as cordial, said the list of those to be terminated was still being generated and would be ready for that date.
More details as they come to hand. (SP)
