DEAR CHRISTINE: Cheater in for big surprise

Share post:

Dear Christine,
Nine months ago my husband decided to provide me with home help after our second child was born. I accepted his offer since taking care of the family and home and working full-time were putting stress on me.
As my son was only two weeks old, I allowed my husband to interview the likely candidates and make the “right choice”. Three weeks ago I discovered that he and the “home helper” have been having an affair right under my nose.
I became suspicious when he started leaving work early for home.
I spoke to a friend, who then installed hidden cameras in our home and my suspicions were confirmed. My husband is not aware that I know what is happening, but I have decided to call the authorities on the woman who I discovered is an illegal immigrant.
My husband is not aware of my plan to clear out house when he travels abroad in a few weeks’ time.
This is the third time he has cheated on me, so please don’t tell me my decision is hard. I am writing to show the men out there they are not always as smart as they think they are.

Dear L.R.,
You obviously have a made-up mind and I hope you have weighed all the consequences of your actions.
I am not here to judge. I simply believe you should do what gives you peace of mind.
– CHRISTINE
