PARENTS WHOSE young children abuse horses in their care may well end up facing charges.
Trustee of the HORSE (Humane Organisation for the Relief of Suffering Equines) Charity, Monique Archer, issued this warning yesterday during a media conference at the Port St Charles Marina in St Peter.
“We want to get the message out there to the parents that if criminal charges are brought it would be against the parent, not the children,” she said.
“You can’t use the excuse I didn’t know that my child had this horse or whatever.”
