AFRICAN AWARENESS activities continued in primary schools across the island today.
The DAILY NATION visited three schools – the Ann Hill School; Wesley Hall Primary and West Terrace Primary – where they explored themes such as self-identity and race appreciation. They also wore traditional African garb and sampled African foods.
The schools also featured several guests including the Pinelands Creative Workshop, the Irving Wilson School, drummer John Howell and a Nigerian and a Ghanaian who gave lectures. (CA)
