PETROL STATION DEALERS are several thousands of dollars in the red as a result of an upsurge in bounced cheques.
The situation has become so bad, the dealers reported yesterday, that some of them are considering eliminating cheques as a method of payment.

He also noted that efforts to collect the outstanding debts were met not only with false promises but with abuse and hostility as well.
