Lively worship time

The sound was right, the stage lighting and management was all there but a crowd was lacking at the Barry Reid: Real Purpose Worship Experience concert at the Orange Hill Church of God in St James last Saturday night as artiste after artiste went out a high note of praise and worship as they ministered in song to a lively and appreciative audience.
Music minister Alaina Trotman, who is no stranger to the gospel scene, used her beautiful blessed voice to capture the hearts of those gathered as she sang Bounce Back and You Are Amazing God in which she was backed by the talented Jerome Waithe on the guitar.
He complemented her well and seemed to have enjoyed himself.
One must not forget the energetic Neil Crichlow who always leaves a positive impression every time and everywhere he ministers for the Lord and this time was no exception as he did Now Is The Time To Worship, You Reign and Lord You Reign just to name a few.
He has come a long way in gospel music and must be commended for his humbleness and consistency.
It was then time for the man himself Reid to grace the stage, he proclaiming, “This is not a show it’s a worship experience”, much to the appreciation of the audience.
He brought original music and some popular ones such as Here I Am To Worship, I Can Feel You All Around Me, Open The Floodgates and one of original pieces Lord Take My Pen. Reid must be commended for staging the concert which was truly a worship experience.
Other artistes that gave support to the awesome evening were the Christian Mission Chorale, Russell Blackman and Tameisha Marshall.
