FOR THE past decade, principal Sandie Field-Kellman has been hosting an annual professional day for the students of the Sunbeam Baby Care and Montessori Pre-school in Clapham, St Michael.
Yesterday the school held its latest professional day, where around 15 little ones, taken from two pre-school classes, dressed as police officers, nurses, crossing guards, painters and more.
“It is about enabling the children to be acquainted with some of the . . . professions in the world. There is a method to teach them about it, just like how you teach them about colours and shapes,” said Field-Kellman.
