Fourth man charged

Police have arrested and charged another man in connection with the seizure of nearly 600 pounds of marijuana off Harrison’s Point, St Lucy.
Richard Austin, 42, of Lower Bakers, St Peter, is the fourth person to be arrested and charged with possession, trafficking, possession with intent to supply and importation of 593.6 pounds of marijuana.
Police seized the drugs and a 24-foor pirogue during a joint operation last Saturday around 6:30 p.m.
Austin is expected to appear at the Holetown Magistrates Court today. (PR/SAT)
