DRIVER BARTHELMOE ALCIDE was injured in an accident earlier today at Coggins Hill, St Andrew.
Alcide, 55, of Silver Hill, Christ Church, received a cut to his right hand and abrasions about his body when a truck he was driving ran off the road.
The truck was towing an excavator and initial Police investigations indicated that Alcide lost control and the truck overturned. The excavator then struck and broke a utility pole and damaged a two-bedroom house occupied by Errol Sobers.
Utility lines and a water supply pipeline were also damaged. (PR/SAT)
