3 injured in two accidents

POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING two serious accidents which occurred in the space of 30 minutes this morning.
The first took place around 6:45 on Fortesque Road, St Philip between a Transport Board bus driven by 45-year-old Richard Broomes and bicyclist Nigel Harewood, 39, of College Savannah, St John. 
Harewood complained of lacerations to his forehead and left shoulder and was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH) for treatment.   
The second accident occurred around 7:15 on Charnocks Main Road, Christ Church. It involved motorcars driven by Edmund Bushell, 45, of Windward Gardens, St Philip, and Tremella Maynard, 36, of Pegwell Gardens, Christ Church.
Bushell received lacerations to the right side of his head and was transported to the QEH by an ambulance. 
Meanwhile, Maynard complained of pains about her body and sought private medical treatment. (PR/NB)
