DUSTING OFF SOME HITS, with a mixture of the new. That is Jah Cure’s plan for his fans converging at Farley Hill on Sunday afternoon.
He arrived tonight, along with fellow dancehall deejay Bugle.
“I hope I made the right selection,” he said after arriving at the Grantley Adams International Airport.
This weekend, Jamaica will come alive with carnival colour. When asked if he participated in the 15-year-old festival, Jah Cure replied: “I represent for the reggae . . . But no disrespect to the soca people.”
He leaves tomorrow.
Chronixx and Beres Hammond, other performers slated for Digicel Reggae on the Hill arrive tomorrow night, while The Voice winner Tessanne Chin lands Sunday morning. (LW)
