Complex at Warrens nears completion

Warrens commercial area will soon have a new shopping centre. A section of the large Barbados Shipping & Trading Company Limited’s (BS&T) complex,  which once housed Warrens Motors and a Dacosta Mannings branch, and is now home to CIBC FirstCaribbean’s newest branch, is being transformed into a facility accommodating various outlets.
In recent days workers have been adding the finishing touches to a project which has included major refurbishment.
These are likely to include restaurants, a health shop, and clothing store. The transformation of this structure is part of a plan by BS&T’s Trinidad and Tobago owner Neal & Massy Holdings Limited to maximise its holdings here.
This started with its first super store a stone’s throw away from the new shopping area, which has SuperCentre Supermarket and Dacosta Mannings sharing one location. A similar combo is scheduled to be constructed at Kendal Hill, Christ Church. (SC)
