SOCIAL SCENE: Fun day for families

Heroes Day activities around the island brought out families glad to take advantage of the holiday weekend and spend quality time together.
Several of them were seen strolling at the St Gabriel’s School grounds where the St Paul’s Anglican Church staged its annual fiesta, honouring outstanding citizens in its community and treating families to a day of fun with entertainment for all ages.
While children took advantage of train rides and Segway rides the adults indulged in the wide variety of food, shopped at the variety of stalls, pausing occasionally to take in the entertainment on stage.
Social Scene dropped in on the fiesta, to capture some of the activities.
