Woman charged for assisting an offender

POLICE HAVE ARRESTED and charged a second person for assisting an offender in the Charley Dume murder.
Twenty-one-year-old Gina Samantha Phillips of Diamond Corner, St Peter was arrested after executing a search warrant at a house in Bathsheba, St Joseph, where they found wanted man Ryan Samuel.
Phillips is expected to appear in Holetown Magistrates Court today, while Samuel was one of five men charged with murder of Dume and remanded to HMP Dodds.
Earlier, Terrell Tarior Mayers, 33, of Clevers Hill, St Joseph, was also charged for the assisting an offender in the same case.
Last week, 28-year-old Leilani Johnson of No. 128 Platinum Avenue, Cane Garden, St Thomas, was charged with assisting wanted man Andre Cave, who has been charged with the murder of Josiah Clairmont. (PR/SAT)
