Tired of complaints and criticism about its shoddy customer service, the Barbados Water Authority (BWA) is planning to make some major upgrades to that department.
While openly admitting poor service continued to be a thorn in their side, BWA general manager Dr John Mwansa confirmed efforts were being made to address the situation.
“We have been having some issues as it relates to our customer service, and it is something which we will address.
“There is an urgent need for an upgrade in that department and we will be taking the necessary steps to ensure we strengthen this department,” he maintained.
Speaking specifically about issues related to the water tanker delivery service, Mwansa acknowledged the BWA had received numerous complaints about the manner in which they operated.
