Night for Bond

It was a night when the Concorde Experience was transformed into a movie set – make that a James Bond movie set.
The event, Shaken Not Stirred, was a fundraiser for the Codrington School  building fund organised by the school’s Parent-Teacher Association and patrons took their cues and came dressed as characters from the popular Bond series.
On stage Brass Soul belted out the vocals, evoking memories of some of the secret agent’s favourite movies and there was dinner “around the Bond world” by Posh Nosh.
There were also secret agents, Bond girls, and a few villains from the range of James Bond movies. The venue proved to be a fitting locale as guests took the opportunity to tour the Concorde aircraft now permanently grounded in Barbados.
Along with blackjack tables and dancing, the event was capped off by a musical performance that brought villains and good guys together on the dance floor for an enjoyable evening. (SH-O)
