Two face joint drugs charges

A MAN AND A WOMAN are facing joints charges for four drugs offences after an operation at the Bridgetown Port earlier this week.
Cecilia Cynthia Clovis, 26, of Jones Gap, My Lords Hill, St Michael and Kirk Orlando Rowe, 40, of Licorish Village, in the same parish, have been charged with possession of cannabis, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation of three pounds of cannabis.
Customs and Police carried out a joint operation at the Bridgetown Port on Tuesday and seized a barrel containing the marijuana in six packages, hidden amongst food stuff. 
Clovis and Rowe were arrested after further investigations.
They were scheduled to appear in the District A Magistrates Court today. (PR/SAT)
