Hundreds of Barbadians are more aware of the state of their health after being screened for blood sugar, blood pressure, body mass index and cholesterol and undertaking some physical activity at the National Health Expo held by the Eastern Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists at Queen’s Park yesterday.
They were also sensitised on adopting healthy lifestyles by using food as their medicine and incorporating more vegetables in their diet.
