Netball team for Commonwealth Games announced

THE BARBADOS Netball Association (BNA) today announced its 12-members team for the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland.
Despite recent matches to test other players, there has been no change to the core of the team which is again captained by Latonia Blackman and features a good mix of youth and experience.
According to a release from the BNA, Barbados are in “an extremely competitive” Pool B with Australia, England, South Africa, Wales, and Trinidad & Tobago.
The first match is against Trinidad and Tobago on July 24.
The team will leave on July 17 and return to Barbados on August 5.
Team Barbados: Latonia Blackman (captain), Rhe-Anne Niles (vice-captain), Laurel Browne, Nikita Piggott, Shonica Wharton, Sheniqua Thomas, Samantha Browne, Kizzy Marville, Damisha Croney, Shonette Bruce, Jeneice Clarke, Shanice Rock. Management: Vaneisha Cadogan (manager), Anna Shepherd (Head Coach), Sandra Bruce-Small (Assistant Head Coach) Dennis Callender (Trainer), Dr Llwellyn Harper (Team Doctor).
