Jailed for a year
After?deceiving the court repeatedly, Kheman Lewis finally threw in the towel yesterday and pleaded guilty to contempt of court, in relation to a sick certificate which he submitted to the court on behalf of drug accused Sebastian Thorpe.
The young man, of St Michael, was sentenced to one year in prison by Magistrate Barbara Cooke-Alleyne.
“I am an idiot,” Lewis told the court regarding his participation in the deceitful act.
