THIRTY STUDENTS, including two who are differently abled, will take part in the LIME Summer Internship Programme this year.
The interns will be assigned to the various departments in the telecommunications company  over six weeks and they will gain invaluable insight into their future careers.
The programme was launched today at the 3W’s Oval, University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus.
LIME’s head of human resources Stephanie Catling-Birmingham told the young men and women the programme would lend to their personal and professional growth.
Entrepreneur Toni Thorne and radio announcer Carol Roberts offered the new interns some words of advice on how to make the most out of the internship experience.
The young people will also have to complete a community-based project. (LK)
