No Central Bank Press conference
THE CENTRAL BANK of Barbados will next Tuesday outline the country’s economic performance for the second quarter of this year.
That is the norm and is to be expected.
But a major shift in policy is occurring on this occasion. There will be no Press conference.
The Press conference has traditionally been held the day after release of the review and Governor Dr Delisle Worrell responded to questions from journalists.
The bank gave no reason for not holding the Press conference. (ES)
