Traffic changes for pan events

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS will be put in place over the weekend to accommodate Pan in De City and Pan Pun De Sand.
On Saturday, Queen Street from its junction with Major Walk Road to its junction with Chapel Street will be closed to all vehicular traffic from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. This will facilitate Pan in De City which takes place from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Speightstown Esplanade, St Peter.
Church Street from its junction with the Speightstown Bypass Road to Eddies Supermarket will be a two-way street.
No person shall park or allow a vehicle to remain stationary on the following roads except for the purpose of picking up or setting down passengers: Major Walk Road, Queen Street, Church Street, Goddings Alley, Mango Lane, and Sand Street.
Temporary arrangements will also be in effect between noon and 10 p.m. on Sunday to facilitate Pan Pun De Sand.
The event takes place at Brandons Beach, St Michael from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m.
Brighton Beach Road South will be closed to all vehicular traffic from its junction with Brighton Beach Main road.
These rules do not apply to vehicles used by the Crop Over Festival Committee, emergency vehicles or vehicles of residents.
No person shall park or allow a vehicle to remain stationary on the following roads except for the purpose of picking or setting down passengers: Spring Garden Highway, Brighton Road, Brighton Beach Road, Brandons, Spring Garden Highway, Exmouth Road, Westbury Road, Postage Road, Country Road, Roebuck Street, Halls Road or Martindale’s Road.
