NCF backing Kadooment and Foreday
THE?NATIONAL?CULTURAL?Foundation is committed to both Grand Kadooment and the ever growing Foreday Morning Jam.
The latter, over years, has become a popular choice for revellers at night and among certain quarters it seems to be giving Grand Kadooment, Crop Over’s premier event a run for its money.
But Cranston Browne, chief executive officer of the NCF, is throwing his organisation’s support behind both events.
“This phenomenal growth pattern which began in its early days back in 1995 is still evident in 2014 with 54 registered bands expected on the road this year, up from 44 bands in 2013,” said Browne during the launch of Bridgetown Market in association with Stag and the Roberts/BL&P Foreday Morning Jam this morning.
