Last mas’

Diplomats, Barbadians from the diaspora and a host of other guests feted recently on the waterlogged lawns of Ilaro Court, the official residence of Prime Minister Freundel Stuart, at what has become the last mas’ for Crop Over, the Prime Minister’s Crop Over Reception.
King and Queen of the Crop, Grantley Hurley and Judy Cumberbatch, were also there mingling with the large crowdin attendance. So too were People’s Monarch Imani, Calypso Monarch Ian Webster, Sweet Soca Monarch Biggie Irie and Tune of the Crop winners Leadpipe and Saddis, and Party Monarch winner Gorg, belting out the popular tunes of the festival,much to the delight of the hundreds at the event.
