Barbados blow lead, lose match

Barbados blew a chance to secure qualification to the next round of the Caribbean Football Union Men’s Caribbean Cup.

Leading 2-0 at half-time, Barbados fell 3-2 to hosts Martinique and are third in the group with one point.

Ricardio Morris opened the scoring in the 13th minute and  Carl Joseph doubled the lead after 30.

Martinique rallied in the second half.

Emmerson Boyce conceded an own goal. Gael Germany scored in the 68th minute and Jose Goron scored the winner 13 minutes later.

Bonaire shocked Suriname 3-2 to win the other match in the Group.

Martinique top the group with six points, Suriname have four and Bonaire are at the bottom without a point.
