Man on cocaine charges

A TRINIDADIAN MAN is expected to appear in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court today on four cocaine-related charges.

He is 36-year-old Marlon Leonard Waldron who arrived from Trinidad by air yesterday around 1 p.m. in transit to London.

While he was preparing to depart, police say a search by Customs officials revealed three packages containing cocaine, hidden in a false bottom of his suitcase.

He was arrested and charged with possession, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation of half a kilogramme of cocaine. (PR/NB)
