Career showcase at Alexandra

Past Alexandra School students visited the school today to share the challenges and successes of their professions and help guide the current students with their career choices.

Acting guidance counsellor Shernelle Clarke said it was part of a week of activities to celebrate the 120th anniversary of the school. 

The theme is Commemorating, Celebrating; Creating the Alexandra Story.

The need to develop the entrepreneurial spirit was highlighted by Communications Consultant and part-time Lecturer at the University of the West Indies Marsha Hinds-Layne while managing director of Secure One Security Inc. Hal Corbin shared the experience of running his own company for the past eight years.
