Brit killed in crash

A British national was killed yesterday when the car he was driving was involved in a collision with a container truck along Bulkeley Road, St George.

Graeme Hatt, a 43-year-old senior freight trader for Shell Trading, died on the scene after suffering major head injuries. The truck was driven by 48-year-old Franklyn Sterling, of Hindsbury Road, St Michael.

Hatt is Barbados’ 13th road fatality for the year. (CA)
