Second man facing murder charge

POLICE HAVE ARRESTED and charged a second man in connection with the shooting death of Jermaine Harper.

Twenty-three-year-old Kemar Leacock of Buckingham Road, St Michael has been charged with murder in relation to the incident which took place on July 14 this year.

Harper, 26, was shot near his home in Wilkinson Road, Black Rock, St Michael.

Leacock appeared in District A Magistrates Court yesterday and was remanded until November 10.

In August, Kemal Akeem Yarde, 24, of Rock Gap, Spooners Hill, St Michael was also charged with murder in connection with this investigation. 

He is currently on remand. (PR/SAT)
