Christ The King to build centre

AN ANGLICAN CHURCH is preparing to build a $1 million centre which will meet some of the needs of parishioners and also provide some funds for the religious institution.

The Church of Christ The King in Rock Dundo, St Michael announced the building plan during a service this morningĀ  attended by members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados.

A senior officer of the church, Ronald Hewitt, urged the congregation to help fund the centre.

Individuals and corporate Barbados are also being encouraged to provide funds.

Construction is expected to start in the first quarter of next year. Ā (TY)
