POLICE ARE EXPECTED to charge two Christ Church men today with last Monday’s armed daylight robbery on the Scotiabank premises at its Coconut Walk, Rockley, Christ Church branch.

Sources close to the investigations also told the DAILY NATION yesterday that a 23-year-old woman from the same parish was also being questioned along with the two men in connection with a string of robberies and burglaries in the Hastings and Worthing districts.

Reports also indicated that lawmen have seized a car, believed to have been bought from the proceeds of last week’s robbery which left a gas station employee injured and detained at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH).

The gas station worker was reportedly struck with a hammer and a briefcase snatched from him with an undisclosed sum of money.
