Government says it is committed to implementing global standards for regulating the international business and financial services sector.
Minister of Industry and International Business, Donville Inniss, made the point yesterday prior to signing a Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) Agreement on behalf of Barbados with the United States.
He cautioned though that the signing was not a deviation from Government’s belief that “businesses and investment must be allowed the flexibility to thrive”.
