Jamaican on drug charges

A 30-YEAR-OLD Jamaican man will appear in court today accused of bringing two pounds of cannabis into the island.

Sian Thompson arrived by air from Jamaica on November 16 and was interviewed by police after clearing immigration. 

He was then referred to the hospital where police say he passed out fifty nine packages containing cannabis which he had ingested. 

Thompson faces charges of possession of two pounds of cannabis, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation. (PR/NB)
