Omar Watson gets bail

THE MAN CHARGED with “malicious communication” relating to  Member of Parliament Michael Lashley has pleaded not guilty to doing so.

Omar Shawn Watson, a 39-year-old senior electrician of Maxwell Hill, Christ Church, went before Chief Magistrate Pamela Beckles at the Oistins Magistrates Court today.

He is charged that on November 15, he sent a message via computer which was menacing in character.

Watson was released on $5 000 bail with one surety and ordered by Chief Magistrate Beckles to “have nothing whatsoever to do with the complainant in this matter”. (SD)
