OTHER SECTIONS OF THE ROAD at White Hill, St Andrew, have now given away as officials look at ways of getting residents to and from the almost cut off district.
But there is no word as to when residents will be relocated.
The revelation comes after officials from the Ministry of Public Works, the Ministry of Housing, Department of Emergency Management and the Soil Conservation Unit paid a visit to the community a week after torrential rains triggered severe land slippage and caused the road in and out of the rural district to break away.
Officials were tight-lipped when asked to speak on the record but a MPW representative for the area, who requested anonymity, said the upshot of yesterday’s meeting was that officials were unsure when the residents would be relocated.
