QEH challenged ‘like any other’ institution

THE QUEEN ELIZABETH HOSPITAL is battling challenges like any other institution.

That reminder came from director of the board Shelly Weir, who made remarks at annual Christmas service in held in the auditorium this morning.

Noting that the institution was not “isolated” in its operation, Weir said they have had to battle with scarce resources and the threat of Ebola and Chikungunya and it was therefore not business as usual. (YB)
