Tell children whole truth about Islam

First I want to make it abundantly clear that we (I speak for myself) do not hate the Muslim people. Generally they are lovely people. It is what they stand for and purport that we hate.

While it is only fair for children who take religious education classes to learn about other religions, I do take offence that Mr Sabir Nakhuda and those of the Muslim community are bent on teaching our children at our schools that Islam is a religion of peace and that Islam, Christianity and Judaism are sister religions. That is not so. Ignorance (lack of knowledge) is not bliss.

If you tell them that Islam is based on peace, generosity and kindness, then you need to tell them the other side as well. We cannot go into Islamic nations and go to their schools and teach their children Christianity or Judaism (not even here could we do that).

Actually, they are taught at schools to hate the Jews and non-believers (that’s non-Muslims). Tell them also that in some Islamic countries churches and synagogues are prohibited and those countries where there are churches, the Christians are consistently and systematically persecuted and many are imprisoned or killed for their faith – if they refuse to reject Christianity and embrace Islam.

Many have their churches and homes burnt down by those who are from this “religion of peace”.

‘Religion of peace’

Jews are hated with a vengeance, and as one leader stated, he won’t be satisfied till they (Jews) are pushed into the sea. Just recently innocent Jewish worshippers were attacked and stabbed in their synagogues as they prayed – several were killed by those who are of this “religion of peace”. And I could go on and on. How is that for a “sister religion”? Some family relationship, huh!

The Quran contains at least 109 verses that call Muslims to war with non-believers for the sake of Islamic rule. Some are quite graphic, with commands to chop off heads and fingers and kill infidels wherever they may be hiding. Muslims who do not join the fight are labelled hypocrites and warned that Allah will send them to Hell if they do not join the slaughter.

Unfortunately, there are very few verses of tolerance and peace to abrogate or even balance out the many that call for non-believers to be fought and subdued until they either accept humiliation, convert to Islam or are killed.

Maybe Muslims here are not so violently inclined as such, but their hidden agenda is to change the existing society in an Islamic society no matter how long it takes or by what means necessary. We must not be ignorant of Islam’s intent. All Muslims believe in the Qur’an and embrace its tenets . . . .

Muslims will not be satisfied until they have world domination. This is not Islamophobia, this is factual information. Wake up, Barbados!
