Silver Sands crime a headache for Talma

THE ACTION MAN is calling for action.

And he has the backing of at least two regular visitors to the island.

Brian ‘de Action man’ Talma wants a community initiative taken against the increase in crime which is plaguing the Silver Sands and Long Beach districts in Christ Church.

From November, last year, up to as recent as two weeks ago, some holiday homes of visitors staying close to the southern beach have been broken into. A number of these visitors are here to partake in Talma’s Beach Culture, which has gained an international following.

“From November we had a lot of crime – burglaries, beach harassment. It’s like I have never seen before and a lot of long-stay visitors are extremely concerned,” Talma said.
