BARBADOS’ CRANE BEACH has been nominated as the Best Caribbean Beach in USA TODAY 10Best’s Readers Choice Awards.
After an extremely close battle, and a surge of enthusiastic voting by the Barbadian public and visitors alike, Crane Beach is currently ranked as the number one in the Caribbean.
However, Bermuda is a close second and threatening to take first position again.
The recently appointed CEO of Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc., William ‘Billy’ Griffith, is enthusiastic about the potential new accolade.
“If we can have a Barbados beach ranked number one in the Caribbean, it can only help our tourism prospects. I encourage all Barbadians to vote daily until Monday to ensure one of our very own beaches is known as the best in the region,” Griffith remarked.
Readers can vote for Crane Beach twice a day until noon, Monday. Voting is simple and free.
