A MAIDEN UNBEATEN first-class century by Shai Hope put Barbados Pride in a strong position to earn an outright win over Trinidad and Tobago Red Force on the third day of the WICB Professional Cricket League match at Kensington Oval yesterday.

Hope’s undefeated 111 helped Barbados declare at 278 for five and the Red Force reached 17 without loss by the close with opener Evin Lewis having to retire hurt after being struck in the groin off the bowling of left-arm spinner Jomel Warrican.
