Woman joins Windies squad

A woman has been added to the West Indies squad at the ICC Cricket World Cup in New Zealand and Australia.

But 23-year-old Leanne Russell won’t be batting or bowling. Rather she has been hired as a massage therapist to temporarily replace Nevisian Virgil Browne, who was involved in an accident last month while the West Indies were on tour in South Africa.
